School Period Times
At Shenton College there are no sirens through the day. The mainstream school is divided into Upper Senior (Years 11 & 12), Lower Senior (Years 9 & 10) and Middle School (Years 7 & 8) – with the Senior and Middle Schools each operating on a different timetable. The students based in the Deaf Education Centre usually follow a similar timetable depending on the Year group, however a more flexible timetable may be implemented in the Centre depending on the students, teaching staff and the academic program from year to year. Most students are mainstreamed with support.
