Access to Interpreters

Rationale
Shenton College Deaf Education Centre can enrol a diverse range of Deaf and Hard of Hearing students who meet the admission criteria stipulated by the WA Education Dept. These students are then able to access the national curriculum (standard, extended, or modified) through Shenton College. In order to facilitate communication, interpreters are provided for all students who use Auslan to communicate, depending on the nature and type of language used in the classroom context.
